We cut the frame on my brother-in-laws bandsaw. He did the job while I inspected, irritatingly, over his shoulder.
The frames now need filing together for a good finish. I spent one hour on one long straight last night so I`m guessing this could be a good few hours more work...
Craig, it is funny really, I got them for £20 on ebay, sizes 0.5mm right up to 8mm in about 16 broaches (it was actually two sets) I was disappointed when I got them. I once has a set of small Bergeon broaches and they were lovely but these have cheap plastic handles! That being said, they cut just as well as the £40 Bergeon 8 piece set!! I`d recommend.... how long they last is another question.
Hi Chris, you mentioned your new broaches. And I could do with a new set. Which ones have you got? Are you happy with them?
